This is the garden at Christ Church, Jerusalem, we have enjoyed so many wonderful events here, including a party for Marie and Andre's engagement!

This is St. Peter's Jaffa, due to be raised to new life in 2014!  Jaffa is also the place where Tabitha was raised from the dead by the prayers of St. Peter, and the power of Jesus Christ.  (Acts 9:36-43)  Who knows if this didn't so strengthen Peter's faith, that when he was next given a vision at the home of Simon the Tanner (also in Jaffa),  he was willing to accept the miraculous thought that Gentiles might be saved, and act on it!  (Acts 10).

We are home in Maryland, and had a wonderful day with our Christ Church family worshiping the Risen Lord, and then a series of great visits with Grace, Eric and Jonah; Sarah, Lily and Miranda Bowden; and Dawn, Austin and Dickie Pitcher!  Thanks to everyone for coming!  We love you all!

The beautiful ancient city and seaport of Jaffa, Israel, with our amazing daughter Marie.  This was our third visit, and she was with us each time.  She and I dipped our toes in the Mediterranian a few times!

First trip to Jaffa

Our first trip to Jaffa, the city from which Jonah left when he was sent by God to Nineveh, and tried to go instead to Tarshish.  The whale was a wake up call for him!  We had a wonderful day with Marie, and made many new friends.

Hello from the Holy Land!  We are preparing to go home to Maryland tonight, but will spend one last evening with our beloved Marie and Andre'.  God has been so good to us these last three weeks, and we wanted to share some pictures and highlights with you.
